Local Kentucky Scholarships
McConnell Scholars Program: Offered by the University of Louisville's McConnell Center, this program provides tuition scholarships to ten high school seniors from Kentucky each year. Scholars have opportunities for travel, internships, and study abroad experiences.

Kentucky College Opportunity Grant: Provides need-based financial aid to Kentucky residents attending Kentucky public colleges and universities
Kentucky Teacher Scholarship Program: Offers up to $6,000 to Kentucky residents pursuing teacher certification at participating Kentucky colleges
Community Foundation of Louisville Scholarships: Various scholarships for students from the Louisville area
Appalachian Region Vocational Scholarship: Supports students in the Appalachian region pursuing careers in STEM
Positively Sharon Memorial Scholarship: Awards $1,000 to students pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education

Regional Kentucky Scholarships
The Center for Rural Development's Youth Programs: Serving a 45-county area in Southern and Eastern Kentucky, the Center offers free youth leadership programs for middle and high school students. Notably, the Rogers Scholars program is a one-week summer camp that has benefited over 1,100 high school students, providing scholarships to those who meet specific academic requirements.
State-Wide Kentucky Scholarships
Kentucky Governor's Scholars Program (GSP): Established in 1983, GSP is a five-week summer program for rising high school seniors. Approximately 1,020 students are selected annually based on academic achievement, extracurricular involvement, and volunteerism. Participants are eligible for scholarships at Kentucky public universities and select private institutions.
